FISD Police Officer Honored by FHS Senior
Each season, senior football players choose an educator that has impacted them deeply to be recognized and wear their jersey on Senior Night. This year, players chose to honor Officer Partin from the Forney ISD Police Department.

Dewberry Elementary Ceremonially Groundbreaking; Parker to Open Elementary #10
Forney ISD invites our Forney Family to join us for the ceremonial groundbreaking of Mary Lou Dewberry Elementary on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 5:30 p.m. on Falcon Way. Ms. Dewberry and family will be in attendance for the event.

Forney ISD Implements New Safety Measures
Last June, Governor Abbott worked with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and the Texas School Safety Center (TxSSC) to create a set of actions to improve safety at all Texas public schools. Forney ISD has complied with all state mandates and has implemented additional actions focused on improving safety and security on and off campus.

Forney ISD will be recognizing members of the Forney Family for being outstanding role models and support systems to others within our schools or the community. The “Be The One. Who’s Your One?” campaign will encourage leadership and guidance and create a ripple effect of making a difference by helping others throughout Forney ISD.
