  • Facilities Maintenance and Transportation migration to new Help Desk

    As previously shared, Forney ISD is adopting a new Help Desk platform that will unify IT, Facilities Maintenance, and Transportation support requests. The IT Department migrated to the new Help Desk at the beginning of June, and it is available from within the MyFISD portal.

    The migration of the Facilities Maintenance and Transportation Departments is scheduled for the week of June 26th. On June 26th, Facilities Maintenance and Transportation request types will be available in the Help Desk. On June 29th, SchoolDude will be removed from the MyFISD portal so that no new tickets can be submitted through the old system.

    After July 1st, the Facilities Maintenance Department is asking all users to resubmit any unresolved SchoolDude requests through the new Help Desk. If you have any questions or concerns about this migration timeline or how best to receive interim support, please reach out to the respective department.
