North Forney High School celebrated with a video highlighting their successes this past school year and unveiled new school logos as a surprise at the end.
The video was shared first with staff and students, and now with families and the community through Facebook and Twitter.
“We’ve had an incredible year, and we wanted to celebrate all we have accomplished while looking forward to a bright future,” North Forney Principal Michael Jung said. “As we continue to make our way to True North, it is essential that we cement our identity in all that we do, especially through our school logo. At North Forney, we have exemplified excellence in ways that are purely our own. We are excited to move forward with new logos to represent who we truly are and for all of Falcon Nation to be proud of.”
A committee of students, parents, staff, and campus and district leadership collaborated and provided feedback over several months to create the new designs for North Forney. Their goal was to create a unique logo for North Forney that students, families, and staff would be proud of, embrace as they move toward the future, and recognize as the official branding for the campus. According to the committee feedback, they wanted a “strong falcon design” that was modern, but timeless, exemplified “True North,” and the campus culture of excellence.
