Service Interruption: Multiple Services

The IT Operations team has found that some of our servers are being bottlenecked due to the increased load of back-to-school processing  and need to take immediate action to correct the issue.

Beginning at 12:30PM the following services will be interrupted while we complete emergency maintenance:

  • Help Desk
  • Laserfiche
  • Transfinder

We expect all services to be restored by 1:30PM.

Update (August 10, 2022 3:10PM):

All services are now restored.

We apologize for the delay. Our infrastructure team encountered a separate issue that required a temporary workaround.

A permanent fix will be put in place tonight, during our regularly scheduled weekly maintenance window. We expect service to be interrupted at 7PM and restored before midnight.

Update (August 10, 2022 9:00PM):

All services are restored at this time. Our IT Operations team will continue to closely monitor the performance of our server infrastructure over the next two days and may plan additional maintenance windows, as necessary.

Again, we believe the issues we are experiencing to be related to the surge of back-to-school processing across all Forney ISD systems. We believe performance issues will subside as move through the coming weeks.
