Service Interruption: Edugence "500" Errors

The Edugence platform is currently experiencing stability issues, resulting in "500" errors for users. Forney ISD IT has made Edugence aware and they are investigating the issues.

At this time, we do not know the root cause of the errors, and it appears to affect users inconsistently. Some users are not able to login, while others can login, but the web portal will crash when trying to open certain menus or pages. Some users have no errors at all.

We're working with Edugence to provide them with detailed reports and logs of the issues. We will update this post as more information becomes available.

Edugence believes that a large number of user issues are related to assessment link sharing.

As a workaround, while they address the issue, they have asked that all teachers ensure students are accessing assessments from the Web Portal, and not through a session link. The Forney ISD Learner Services team has created these instructions, and asks that all teachers guide their students through this process if they are receiving the 500 errors.
