Service Outage: Multiple Services

Forney ISD IT is aware of multiple systems down or unavailable for login across the district. The list of currently affected systems includes the following:
- FileWave (Software Kiosk & Imaging)
- Help Desk
- MyFISD (Password Changes)
- Smart Tag
We are actively investigating the issue and hope to have a resolution soon. Updates will be posted here as they are available.
Update (Nov 8th, 9AM)
Additional affected services were added to the list above.
Update (Nov 8th, 9:50AM)
At this time, basic network services have been restored across the district. Any devices unable to connect to WiFi should be restarted.
Our list of other affected services has been updated to show additional services that are still affected or unavailable.
Update (Nov 8th, 10:40AM)
Our IT Operations team has established a remediation plan to correct the issues affecting individual services. Restoration work has begun and the Edugence platform should now be available to all users.
The current estimate places full restoration of services after 4PM today. We will update this posting as more information is made available.
Update (Nov 8th, 12:30PM)
Remediation and resolution is complete, ahead of schedule. At this time, we are showing all services are fully restored and functional. If you continue to experience any issues or errors with affected applications, please submit a Help Desk request. IT staff members will be investigating lingering issues on a case-by-case basis.
